How to Make Doritos Taco Casserole in a Crock Pot
Aunt Lou here.
Growing up, Cris and I lived a few miles away from this little country store called Pine Valley. They always used Doritos in their taco salad. Now, as a picky little eater, I would order it with meat, cheese and chips only. It was wonderful! The flavor of the Doritos complimented the taco meat perfectly! So when thinking up what I could try out next for you fine folks, I was quite happy to make up this delicious casserole that reminds me of childhood. I bet you will love it too!
Crock Pot Doritos Taco Casserole Notes:
- My store only had the 13.5 oz can of cheddar cheese soup, if you can only find the 10.75 oz can of cheddar cheese soup, that will work as well.

This is perfect as is. I made it again though and added green chile enchilada sauce that we have here in California. It was a nice option but your original is the best. Leftovers are good rolled up in a tortilla also. Thanks for sharing. I think I will make this again today..it is cold and rainy here and I need something hot!Reply

Today I served this to my husband Joe after finally opening the forbidden bag of Doritos. It was great! I’m surprised that there was enough to cook before I put it in the pot to cook!! We talked about the many ways to use this recipe for other things. Tostitos won our first try. thank you much, hooray!
