Typically after preparing the recipe, you then transfer it into your slow cooker or even a low temperature oven to cook it low and slow. You can then go about your day and have a tender, delicious and nutritious dinner ready for you in the slow cooker.

Butter Chicken in the Slow Cooker

We all know the Butter Chicken makes a lot of sauce, so when you make it in the slow cooker you can double the chicken (up to 2.5kg) with double the marinade and make only one portion of sauce.

Marinate the chicken first (you can actually do this the night before), make the sauce in the Thermomix & add that to the slow cooker. Cook thighs on low for 6-8 hours and chicken breast on low for 3-4 hours. Add the nuts, and cream into the slow cooker with 30 minutes remaining.

When you make the Beef Bourguignon in the slow cooker, sauté the garlic, onions and speck in the Thermomix and measure the sauce ingredients into the mixer bowl before tipping it into the slow cooker. We recommend not adding the water & only using the wine with the stock paste concentrate as your liquid component.
