Any thoughts?
Wish I had 43k...and maybe some more for restoration.
Keep a look out for a running take out for this boat,I looked at it,it’s solid lots of potential
My budget choice for repower would be a 6BT Cummins. That said I would run that rice motor until she ate herself. I would definitely go wet exhaust and loose the keel cooling as a part of repower.

That "rice" motor will last forever if treated properly. The boat's been for sale for a long while, they must be firm on the price or maybe there is more wrong with it.

I used the term “rice” motor because that’s what Rony Colby used to call them when he sold them back in the late 80’s early 90’s. My dad put a bunch of them in 30 South Shores in that time period. Jody Murray’s Danny and Chad, Jon Hodgdon’s Artful Dodger, Jimmy Hodgdon’s Anita K, and he put one in a boat you used to own...the red 30 YB. They were great motors, but do not have the support they used to. Parts are harder to find, tech info, and etc.
Given pictures are hard to to guage value compared to price. I think she needs lots of cosmetic. But at 43K it seems like a good deal.
