This is an AIO for those who have the full AE version of the game (all creation club content.) There's some CC content that didn't have NPCs to have required so while it doesn't technically require all AE content in masters, it requires over 50 different Creation Club files.
What this mod changes: This mod changes all the vanilla race NPCs and Seducer and Saint race NPCs to use high poly heads, and in some cases, KS Hairdos and SG eyebrows. I did not change any of the NPCs with custom heads though, such as Blue God or the ash zombies. I've included Facegen files for all the affected NPCs as well as tintmasks. This does not include body mesh changes, skin texture changes, or any external assets.
Recommended mods: The Bits and Pieces mods make all NPCs look instantly more beautiful and realistic in my opinion. That is the skin texture I'm using in the screenshots.
Note on doing FOMOD and/or variations: There's not enough NPCs to justify making individual ESP/ESLs for all the Creation Club content in my opinion so sorry but this won't be separated out into individual versions or as a FOMOD by me. I do have individual versions of Fishing and Saints and Seducers (Free content that came with AE update) as well as Necromantic Grimoire and The Ghost of the Tribunal as my previous mods that will still be available on their individual pages. A lot of the other CC content had mostly generic NPCs so I did put a bit more effort into the Free AE Update CC content and Ghost of the Tribunal anyways. Though those NPCs are included with this version of course with the only changes being the hair for the Saint and Seducer NPCs.
I had a lot of issues with scripts to apply high poly heads to the CC content so the process was a bit agonizing so the content will be as-is, aside from if there's bugs of course! I opted for using a different version of the high poly SG Eyebrows that was more updated for this file than the one from my previous mod. Please use mod version listed in the requirements.
I have no issue with someone making a version that reduces the NPCs affected to make it more compatible, divide it, or even make changes to make the NPCs look better. I only ask that I'm credited if you use my mod as a baseline.
Note on Race Compatibility: I did add Saint and Seducer races to use humanoid form ID lists so if you use custom races from other mods you may have issues. Though it's a simple fix. You just go in xEdit, create a patch with all the race records for the form ID list and then you're golden.
I mostly made this mod for myself to enjoy the AE content without blocky faces but I hope you enjoy! I like to think of this as a temporary solution for AE NPCs until one of the great NPC overhaul modders spoil us with some great CC NPC Overhauls.
To install high poly head just install the latest file, only one file!Once its downloaded go to where the file installed, bring up Vortex and drag and drop the High Poly Head file in Mods where it says drop files.
Use the Face Part slider in RaceMenu to switch to the high poly head. If the head turns dark, change the player weight to force the skin shader to update.
High Poly Heads has a specific vampire add-on. The heads are generally better structured than their base game counterparts due to the higher quality meshes but they do not change anything too drastically if at all when it comes to facegen.
